We are currently looking for an ASSISTANT ENGINEER
in our Carlsbad office
Position Description:
This position reports directly to a registered civil engineer who is a project engineer or project manager. Duties include design calculations and preparation of construction plans and specifications for water, recycled water or wastewater facilities such as pipelines, pumping stations and reservoirs. Duties may also include plan checking, light AutoCAD drafting and assisting with design of other related facilities such as aquatic animal life support systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BSCE and EIT
- 2 - 3 years of water and sewer design experience
- Some hydraulic modeling and AutoCAD experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Availability to work from 8 am until 5 pm, M-F
- Prompt, honest, reliable and dedicated to success
Compensation:
