Recognition
DBE provides paid time off to encourage employees to become active within their communities. DBE staff can regularly be found coaching baseball and soccer, working at swim meets and volunteering with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. A brief description of some of our latest community involvement is listed below:

2006 Children's Water Education Festival

Several DBE employees participated in this event hosted by the Orange County Water District Groundwater Guardian Team and Disneyland Resort. The festival offers more than 70 interactive and fun-filled activities that teach elementary school students about the environment and the important role they play in preserving one of our most precious natural resources – drinking water.

Orangewood Children’s Foundation

DBE has several volunteers that have participated in various events. Additionally, DBE provides a company sponsorship for this organization. Orangewood Children’s Foundation is a leader in providing programs and services for Orange County's abused, abandoned and neglected children, as well as at-risk families.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

DBE has participated generating substantial funds for this organization; the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education, and patient services.

Hurricane Relief

With projects and business associates in the Caribbean and the Gulf Coast, DBE assisted hurricane relief efforts through the following organizations: Salvation Army, American Red Cross, Cayman Turtle Farm, Louisiana SPCA, Louisiana Episcopal Relief Fund and the So CA Cajun Relief Fund.
